Hello, glad you made it this far. My name is Rob Eldridge. Pittsburgh, PA has been my hometown for the past 16 years. I cherish the time I’ve had in the Steel City but I’ll always be a Vermonter at heart. I was born and raised in a small town called Swanton. Swanton is 45 miles south of Montreal, Quebec and 35 miles north of Burlington, VT. I grew up listening to some of the best players out there, from Phish to Nobby Reed.
Making and listening to music is my passion. I was immersed in music from an early age. My grandmother was an accomplished pianist and my grandfather was an opera singer. (hear a clip here) My dad is an artist and was an avid collector of vinyl which I’ve fortunately inherited. I navigated my way around sounds and vintage equipment from an early age. My exposure to music has been broad and I enjoy most all sounds that contain melodic sensibility. I’ve shared the stage with some incredible musicians and partnered with some great songwriters during my journey.
Supported the following National Acts: The Jayhawks, Big Country, Government Mule, The Fixx, Warren Haynes, members of Phish, Blue Rodeo, Edgar Winter, Aimee Mann, Tea Leaf Green, Tumbleweed Wanderers, Big Wreck, Uncle Green, Raging Slab, Indigenous, Animal Bag, God Street Wine, Moonboot Lover.

Sonic Planet Studio is located in McDonald PA just 5 minutes off the Bridgeville exit or a short 10 minute drive from Robinson Town Center. The studio is perfectly designed for singer-songwriters or 3-4 piece bands.
I really enjoy making new music with old tools and vintage sounds. That being said I believe and embrace technology.
